-Vertical Location
-Linear Perspective: one-point or two-point
-Atmospheric Perspective
-Communication of Volume: modeling or cross-contour lines

-Creativity
-Did you take risks?
4. Craftsmanship/Technical Ability: 25 points
-Neatness
-Execution of materials
Total: 100 points

Project IV: Monochromatic Self-Portrait Mosaic Grading Criteria
1. Understanding of Assignment: 33 points
-Proper size and dimensions
-Did you follow directions?
-Did you complete a value scale to supplement your project?
2. Use of Color: 34 points
-Successful range/depiction of values
-Opaque/solid, consistent hues used in mosaic
-Relevance of color choice
-Monochromatic color scheme?
-Background is filled in with a value--no whiteness of Bristol board showing
3. Craftsmanship/Technical Ability: 33 points
-Execution of materials used
-Neatness
-No glue residue
-Paper tiles are securely glued to surface
Total: 100 points
This project is due Thursday 11/17 (if you are not going to be in class on 11/22). If you ARE going to be in class on Tuesday 11/22, you may turn in your project then.

Here's an example of a monochromatic self portrait mosaic. This student executed their's in grayscale, and you all will be executing your's in color.
